Short version: casinos may pay us when you sign up through our links. They get nothing else — not a better score, not a softer review, not a veto.
The arrangement
UK Spin Ranker takes part in affiliate programmes run by the operators we list. When a visitor follows one of our tracked links — the buttons labelled "Visit…" on the homepage and comparison pages — and opens an account, the operator may pay us a commission. That commission is our only income. Readers pay nothing, and joining through our link costs exactly the same as typing the casino's address yourself.
What commissions don't buy
Scores are decided before links are added, using the eight-criteria checklist described on the comparison page. Operators don't see drafts, can't purchase placements, and can't request edits. Whether a commission arrangement exists has no effect on where an operator sits in the table — some of our monthly re-checks have moved commissioned operators down, and that's how it should work.
How to spot a paid link here
Every tracked operator link carries a visible "Ad · 18+ · T&Cs apply" note beside it and a rel="sponsored" attribute in the code. Links to the Gambling Commission, GamStop, GamCare, GambleAware and other informational destinations are never tracked and never earn anything.
Why we're telling you this
Partly because UK advertising rules require clear disclosure of commercial relationships — and partly because a comparison site that hides its funding model doesn't deserve to be trusted on anything else. If any page on this site leaves the relationship unclear, that's a fault worth reporting: tell us and we'll fix it.
